EUROPEAN TOUR POSTPONEMENT FAQ

By Machine Head

1. Will tickets purchased for the postponed EU shows be valid for the rescheduled dates?

Yes. All tickets will be honored for the new show dates. Those who are unable to make the new show will have the option of getting their tickets refunded. Refunds will take place at your point of purchase.

2. Is “MY” show getting postponed?

Yes.  All dates on the EU tour from April 19th until June 6th have been postponed.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.  As has been reported incorrectly in the metal media, this was not our decision.  Once the government’s of several countries instated the ban on public gatherings over 1,000 people, the tour was effectively cancelled for us.  Our hope was that the tour could continue “IF” the bans were lifted in time.  Unfortunately, more public gathering ordinances came about, and these came with “indefinite suspension”, there was simply no way we could afford to lose 17 shows without bringing financial ruin on the band.

Today, more bans were announced in Germany, and we expect this to continue.  We made the heartbreaking decision to postpone the entire tour for the safety of all involved: fans, crew, band.

3. When will you have the rescheduled dates?

We are working with our booking agent, venues, and promoters to confirm new dates as fast as possible. This will take a while just due to the length and scope of the tour.  We ask you to please refrain from contacting venues and promoters as they will not have any additional information to provide you.

6. When did you make the decision to postpone the EU tour?

The decision was made yesterday morning after Germany instated the ban on public gatherings.  As Robb stated, we had been closely monitoring the situation for almost 2 weeks, when the first shows were cancelled by the governments in Switzerland and France.

7. Does anyone in the band have coronavirus?

No. We postponed the tour out of caution and concern for our fans, our touring staff, and everyone’s families and communities, and the fact that we would not be allowed to perform concerts due to the banning of public gatherings (which as of today has gone down to as low as 100 people in some countries). Thank you for your concern and support.

9. Can I still get merchandise from Ten Ton Trading Co.?

Yes. We are still shipping orders, but you can expect shipping delays for International packages due to new precautionary measures regarding travel in and out of countries. We will close the web store if we are unable to fulfill orders for any reason.

10. Is the Australian Tour in September still happening?

Yes.  At the moment there is not travel ban for the United States, and there are no specific bans on public gatherings.  Until we are told otherwise, we are proceeding as if the tour is happening.

11. Will VIP Packages purchased for the postponed EU shows be valid for the rescheduled dates?

Yes. All VIP Packages will be valid for the rescheduled shows.  Those who are unable to make the new show will have the option of getting their VIP Package refunded. Refunds will take place at your point of purchase (minus any credit card  service fees).  However we cannot guarantee your VIP spot when these shows are re-announced.
