Happy New Year Head Cases
By Machine Head

A message from Robb:
"Well… here we are again. Another year in the books, and somehow this band is still very much alive, loud, and kicking people in the chest with guitars. Go figure.
We dropped a new record this year — and yeah, it stirred some shit, but that’s kind of the point. Some people loved it, some people scratched their heads, but once we hit the stage? A couple of those songs turned into absolute fucking monsters. The kind where you see the crowd lose their minds and think, “Ohhh… okay, THIS is what this song was waiting for.” Live music doesn’t lie.
We spent a good chunk of the year out there doing what we do best — headlining across the U.S., tearing through some killer American festivals, then heading overseas for some truly unreal European festivals, including headlining slots that still feel surreal after all these years. Australia was next level too — full-on “Evening With” shows (three hours, no bullshit) and three massive festivals that reminded us just how deep that connection runs on the other side of the world.
Now, it wouldn’t be a real year if something didn’t go sideways. Our brother, Reece, had to step away from a big stretch of touring to be with his family whilst his father battles cancer. We were lucky as hell to have some absolute legends step in and help us hold it down, both Vogg and Zack crushed it.
Australia even saw us walk onstage as a three-piece for all the headline shows AND festivals. Not gonna lie — that could’ve been a train wreck. Instead, it turned into one of those “holy mole, this is actually WORKING” moments. Loud, raw, and dangerous. Adapt or die, motherfuckers.
Through all of it — the miles, the noise, the curveballs — what keeps hitting me is the bond. The band. The crew. And all of you who keep showing up, singing louder than the PA, throwing fists, circle-pitting, wall-of-death-ing, and giving a shit. Thirty-plus years in and we’re still learning, still evolving, still swinging, still dumb enough to think the next show might be the best one yet.
Thank you for riding with us this year — every sweat-soaked club, every festival rager, every late-night drive. We’re already looking ahead, plotting the next moves, and getting ready to do it all over again in 2026.
Now go crack a beer, hug someone you love, and we’ll see you out there."
