  hey i love this diary thing your doing i just read the one on pearl jam and i never knew much about them, ive been growing up in a small farming community and me and a couple buddies are the only one's here that listen to metal, punk etc.
  
  i grew up listening to system of a down first, first rock band ever and went to straight to punk sex pistols, dead kennadys, nofx, the germs and my fav rancid and started to listen to metal such as iron maiden, anthrax, metallica, slayer, pantera, and so on and when i saw this i thought it was awesome cause im 17 and it's a lot of fun reading what it was like for when you were growing up like when u listened to a black sabbath song and it freaked the shit out of u and so on.
  
  well the main reason i was commenting was my opinion, which i would have to say is cd. i love listening to a band on pandora and itunes and all that but it dosent beat cd. the last time i bought a cd was when limp bizkit came out with there new album gold cobra and i was really excited because i havent heard anything from them in ages and bam new album so went and bought it popped it in the radio and went crusing around in my truck with it blasting, dissrupting peple as they do everyday things as i drive by. cd is my opinion just because u have a peice of music history in your car/truck, sterio etc and u can share it and its not just a song but you get the heavy songs, the slower songs, and the songs with loads of meaning behind it all in one cd, it just seems like if u dont like the song you would have to change the whole cd and i like giving each song there chance instead of skipping it.
